Dear family and friends,
As many of you know, Mike passed away August 27th, less than a month after first experiencing symptoms of what was ultimately metastatic pancreatic cancer. While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the joy Mike brought to every moment of his life—whether it was windsurfing, gardening, playing pickleball, on the dance floor, or with family and friends at the beach with a “cosmo” in hand.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations (https://events.lustgarten.org/fundraiser/6604856) be made in Mike’s memory to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the largest private funder of pancreatic research in the country. Alternatively, join a nearby Purple Stride walk (https://secure.pancan.org/site/SPageServer/?pagename=purplestride_home) event in spring 2026 to raise awareness.
